braille & tactile signs
As we are a specialist Braille & tactile manufacturer we can meet almost any requirement possible. We produce signs in high quality metals such as stainless steel, aluminium and brass as well plastics in most colours which contrast to ensure high visibility. Ral colours can also be used with plastics and is very useful when matching up to existing door furniture.
All our signs are manufactured with guidance of the Royal National Institute of Blind (RNIB) to conform to the DDA Act 1995 and more recently so from 1st October stating that business’ and organizations’ “make reasonable adjustments” one of which is providing well defined signs for visually impaired people.
We can supply grade 1 Braille which represents letter for letter and is used for single and shorter wording signs and also grade 2 which is an abbreviated form, this is used for longer sentences.
