Braille & Tactile Signs (DDA Act 1995)

Our reputation as the UK's No 1 Braille signage and tactile signs manufacturer speaks for itself. Using innovative manufacturing techniques to produce our range of DDA compliant blind signs enables us to produce a wide range of braille and tactile signage, adhering to srtingent quality standards and meeting individual requirements.

All of our braille signs are manufactured with the guidance of the RNIB, of whom we are a recommended supplier. In accordance the blind sign guide we ensure all of our bind signage meets the current stringent regulations. As recently as last year, the Government's Equality Act 2010 was passed, this in conjunction with the Disability Discrimination Act and other policies was introduced to ensure adherence to guidelines and consistency of standards. This helps meet the challenge blind and partially sighted people face on a day to day basis.

Manufactured using the Raster Bead method, we can produce high quality braille and tactile signs in metals such as stainless steel and anodised aluminium and also plastics such as acrylic. Full colour graphics and logos can also be incorporated into our Braille and tactile signs, so as well as complying with regulations, corporate styles and guidelines are also adhered to.

Metal

High quality metals such as stainless steel and satin anodised aluminium are manufactured using revolutionary manufacturing techniques, which set us apart from our competitors. Using the latest technology, Raster beads can be integrated directly into the metal achieving a stunning effect. Typically produced from 1.5mm and 2mm thick sheet metal, this range of DDA compliant blind signage cannot be surpassed on quality which is eivdent in the finished product.

Acrylic

Available in a variety of thicknesses acrylic products are available depending on the application and requirement. We stock and supply up to 10mm thick Perspex which can be laser cut with precision to leave a smooth, polished edge. More flexible products such as Gravotac and Rowmark are also available and are used for applications such as integrating into sign systems and also limited budget projects.
